Xilisoft DVD to WMV Converter allows you to rip your DVD movies to WMV. Apparently, Xilisoft has taken business quite seriously. They have released an application for every format that you can probably think of. This one at hand is a DVD ripper that converts your DVD movie to the Microsoft Windows Media Video format. These applications are a little more customizable than the competition. They offer features that you won't see in most applications. For example, this DVD ripper allows you to not only rip full DVD movies, but also rip segments of the DVD movies. One of the great uses of this is to cut movie credits at the end of a movie to make your files smaller. As you would expect from a DVD ripper, you can also select any chapter or title of the DVD to rip and you can select the audio streams and the subtitles that you want it the final file to show. You can also use Xilisoft DVD to WMV Converter to only rip the audio of a DVD into WMA audio files. This is extremely useful for concerts in DVD formats which you want to keep on a smaller file. |
